Event Description

Mil Millington explores what it takes to make a novel. For him, it's philosophical questions or aspects of human psychology - whatever he finds fascinating at the time, and it works. His first novel, 'Things My Girlfriend and I Have Argued About' led to him becoming one of the Guardian's Best First Novelists in 2002. Since then he's written three more critically acclaimed novels, and for various newspapers and magazines as a features writer and a columnist. His most recent novel, 'Instructions for Living Someone Else's Life' came out this year, as did the serial 'Sexton Blake: Detective!' for BBC Radio 2.
